With more than 14 years of teaching experience at the high school level in disciplines like Honors English, Honors Journalism, and Honors Creative Writing. Ms.Insua is an experienced in developing essays for the Common Application, the Coalition Application and beyond. Students will develop and perfect the essay with Ms.Insua;s guidance and after two 45 sessions incorporating sentence patterns and master vocabulary, the essay will be ready for submission.

About Ms.Insua

Ms.Christina Insua is a Suma Cum Laude graduate of Florida International University Honors. She has worked in the field of journalism for companies like Hispanic Magazine, a division of Telemundo, as a writer and editor. Ms.Insua has been teaching in the highly competitive Mas scholars Program at Christopher Columbus High School for the past 15 years. She is also the co-moderator of CCNN Live, Columbus’ nationally recognized Journalism Program for which she has won 21 Student Television Emmy Awards. She was Columbus’ Teacher of the year in 2014.
